The North Carolina Association of Indian Americans (NCAIA) is a dedicated and purpose-driven non-profit organization committed to fostering community, advocating rights, and promoting inclusion to support the Indian American community in North Carolina. We focus on advancing meaningful initiatives that empower and uplift the community during social, political, and economic challenges to help our community thrive across all facets of life.

Education
NCAIA brings together people, programs, and resources to inspire and advocate for improvement in educational policies, empowering children and adults to take purposeful action to excel in their chosen fields. Our goal is to uphold and promote Indian American educational values that nurture responsible citizenship and cultivate leadership.
Immigration
Navigating immigration policies can be a complex process. NCAIA supports Indian American families and individuals by providing guidance, resources, and advocacy related to immigration issues. From visa concerns to pathways for permanent residency and citizenship, we strive to connect Indian Americans in North Carolina with the information and resources they need.
Security
NCAIA is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of the Indian American community in North Carolina. We work to address security by fostering awareness, providing access to resources, and collaborating with local authorities and organizations. We strive to provide a platform for individuals and families to access local law-enforcement resources.
Political Advocacy
Representation matters. NCAIA actively promotes political engagement and civic participation among Indian Americans. We work to educate our community on key legislative issues, encourage voter registration, and advocate for policies that reflect the needs and aspirations of Indian Americans. Our goal is to ensure that our community has a strong voice in shaping North Carolina's future.
Our Accomplishments
Assisted with Visa/Immigration problems in collaboration with elected officials
Influenced policy changes to provide tuition-free college education for high-performing students graduating from NC School of Science and Mathematics
Raised community awareness about common issues such as security and assisted Indian American families with security breaches and crime incidents
Organized fundraisers over the last nine years supporting candidates from both political parties
Conducted fundraisers for educational institutions
